The collegiate membership experience is based on these promises: to live our values, to learn, to lead and to serve. Membership within Alpha Omicron Pi offers women an exceptional experience through countless opportunities for personal and professional development and leadership and learning experiences. AOII offers four years of educational development that are tailored to our women, helping our members to be the best that they can be.

"In the last two years of being a member of AOII I have found my best friends, future bridesmaids, and my support system. I know I can count on my sisters for absolutely anything and they accept and embrace me every day. Since the moment I ran home I have been surrounded by the most caring, sincere, and dedicated group of women I have ever met. AOII has been the best thing that has happened to me since coming to WMU and I am forever proud to be part of this organization. I can't wait to be an old lady and tell my kids and grandkids about how much Greek life has impacted and changed my life for the better." - Lizzie, beta theta

"As an incoming freshman I was nervous about making friends since I barely knew anyone from my hometown in the pinky of Michigan so I decided to try going Greek. I had two older cousins in this chapter so it seemed fitting for me to be an AOII. Once I joined I became extremely close with most of my pledge class and ended up moving in with one of my new sisters my second semester of my freshman year. She not only was my roommate but later became my best friend, she has been through everything with me and I honestly would not be here without her love and support. AOII has given me confidence, leadership, independence and all my bridesmaids. This chapter has made me such a better individual and I am so glad to be apart of such a lovely group of ladies that I call my sisters. Being a member of Alpha Omicron Pi has been the best college experience I have had by far." - Mary, beta kappa

"My first year at WMU, I suffered from extreme depression and anxiety. Between battling those illnesses and the huge life change of moving away from my family and hometown, I was an emotional wreck. Lucky for me, I found a group of girls that scooped me up and loved me unconditionally, even when I couldn't find the strength and reason to love myself. My sisters have taught me self-worth and how to see positivity in everything I do. I still struggle from time to time with feeling alone and lost, but thanks to my sisters in Alpha Omicron Pi, I do not have to fight these battles by myself." - Heather, beta eta

"When I was going through recruitment I was torn between two houses and ended up getting a bid from AOII and I was so happy but I didn't know why AOII picked me at first. I ran home that day and I walked over to stand behind all these people that were my sisters and felt like I was home but I also felt a little lost because I didn't know anyone yet. Then as soon as I found a place to stand, my soon to be best friend Taylor and her Big came up to me and said "Welcome to AOII," at that moment I knew I was home. Later on I found that everyone in AOII had the same values and I knew why they chose me to become a sister. Throughout my time in AOII I have held three positions and AOII has helped me to gain the confidence and friendships I never thought I would have I love all my sisters and would not change any of them because they are all amazingly wonderful human beings." - Gracie, beta theta
